Working on the review of the Gauteng Spatial Development Framework (GSDF) for 2030 as part of the ‘Enterprises at the University of Pretoria’ team was definitely one of the high-lights of my career. My main responsibilities included: (1) Research: Policies & Legislation, Natural Environment and Growth Management; (2) Assisting in the development of the GSDF Spatial Development Concept and Strategies; and (3) Creating Infographic Summaries with a specific focus on summarising the main research and data dense chapters in such a way that illustrated the key findings in an easily digestible manner.
